Focusrite จับเอา OctoPre Mk2 ที่เป็น preamp แบบเดียวกับที่มีใน interface ตระกูล Saffire Pro จำนวน 8 channels มาเพิ่ม VCA-compressor เข้าไปให้กับทั้ง 8 channels จนออกมาเป็น Focusrite OctoPre Mk2 DYNAMIC โดย compressor ที่ใส่เข้าไปนั้นเป็นการจำลองมาจาก Focusrite Red 3
